Welcome to Kids Art In Chelsea!

It may not be Halloween yet, but before you know it winter will be here! We're looking forward to our winter Kids Art in Chelsea sessions beginning in January 2007. Come in to warm up, have a cuppa joe, and get the kids out of the house and into the creative spirit! Email me at RBZNY@aol.com to get on the mailing list and be kept in the loop!

On October 28th, PS 11 will be holding its annual Fall Festival. There will be games, a hay ride, music, face painting, a bake sale and I will be running the Arts & Crafts. Come on down and support your Chelsea's neighborhood school. PS 11 is located at 21st St. between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Fall Party a Great Success!

Everyone had fun and laughs at Kids Art in Chelsea's fall art party. It was great to see our old friends and some new faces. Despite the summer-like weather, the fall leaf wall hangings were a big hit! We also painted wooden animals and birdhouses with help from Andre's mom Anne, and the spin-art table was hopping thanks to Aron's mom Barbara! I am thrilled to see our community of young artists continuing to grow! Come to our Fall Fiesta!

Kids Art In Chelsea returns with a fun-filled day of arts & crafts on Saturday, September 16th from 12-2pm. Come celebrate back-to-school and see old friends. Parents can enjoy a cup of morning coffee while the kids create. We'll be making a fall wall hanging, doing spin-art and other projects. Price is $15 per child which includes all materials and snacks. Lunch food is available at the cafe.

An Arty Party!!

A unique event for Saturday mornings in New York City!

"An arts & crafts class with a party-like atmosphere, Kids Art in Chelsea gives children ages 4-8 the opportunity to move from table to table at their own pace, making up to 3 different projects in a single class. Kids are inspired to create using a variety of materials. There are always guided projects and an open freestyle drawing wall. Based in Spark Event Center, behind Corrado Café, parents can sip coffee and chat while the kids get creative."
